As a child, Batman was always my least favorite superhero because he was “just a billionaire” and didn’t have real superpowers. Movie studio wins rights to Elon Musk biography

An Elon Musk biopic is coming our way after indie studio A24 won the rights to Walter Isaacson’s biography of the billionaire.

The big question is: Who will play Musk? Whoever it is could be set for a good night at the Oscars. A24 dominated the most recent awards, taking home seven prizes for Everything Everywhere All at Once and two for The Whale.

Darren Aronofsky is slated to direct the Musk movie. He has a track record of pushing actors to Oscar glory – Natalie Portman won best actress for Black Swan and Ellen Burstyn was nominated for Requiem for a Dream.

The tech boss genre also lends itself well to awards. Michael Fassbender was nominated for best actor for Steve Jobs – also based on a Walter Isaacson biography – as was Jesse Eisenberg for his portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network.
